The Mac cleaner that respects you - reclaim space safely, all on-device.

SiftSpace is the Mac cleaner I actually wanted to install. The existing ones either felt like adware or asked for my admin password and my trust on day one. SiftSpace reclaims the space you paid for and audits your Mac's security, with everything processed on-device and every action reversible.

Your Mac says it is full, and half of what is eating the disk is junk you never chose - stale caches, duplicate files, forgotten downloads, and the gigabytes that build tools leave behind. The utilities that promise to clean it up have a reputation for a reason: they pre-select risky things, hide what they are doing, and treat your machine like a billboard. I wanted the opposite.

SiftSpace sweeps the whole disk in minutes with a parallel Rust engine, classifies what it finds through a five-tier safety model, and shows you exactly what turned up and why. Nothing risky is ever pre-selected. Everything moves to the Trash instead of being hard-deleted, so every decision is reversible, and your Keychains, Mail, SSH keys, VMs, and databases are walled off and never touched.

A clean Mac is only half the job, so SiftSpace also ships a security console - a 0-to-100 posture score, on-device malware scanning, a vulnerability scan, an app-permission audit, and a startup and persistence check. It is 100% on-device: your files never touch the cloud and there is no telemetry. It runs natively on macOS 12 and later as a universal build for Apple Silicon and Intel, and it is free while it is in public beta.
