Sanar
Where I serve as Co-Founder & CTO of Saudi Arabia's licensed virtual-care platform.
Sanar is where I serve as Co-Founder and CTO. Together with my co-founders we took telemedicine in Saudi Arabia from a paper-based, in-person experience to a regulated, multi-specialty digital service that people across the Kingdom can access from their phone.
I joined Sanar as Co-Founder and CTO in 2019. From the first day I have led engineering and infrastructure, designed the product platform, and made the architectural calls that shaped what Sanar is today. The product, the licensure, the clinical model, and the team are the work of many people - my piece of it is the technology and the engineering org.
Today the platform spans 25+ medical specialties, with telemedicine, home healthcare, chronic-care programs, prescriptions, lab tests, nursing, IV therapy, and physiotherapy. It is licensed by the Saudi Ministry of Health and runs at the kind of scale and reliability that healthcare actually demands.
The engineering organisation is one I am genuinely proud of. We are 50+ people across product, engineering, clinical operations, and customer success, and the culture is something we have built deliberately over six years.
