MongoQUI

Founder · Builder

A modern desktop IDE for engineers who use MongoDB every day.

I built MongoQUI because I was tired of the gap between knowing what I want from a database and writing the aggregation pipeline to get it. It is a native desktop IDE for the people who use MongoDB every day, with an AI layer that turns plain English into a real, runnable query.

Most MongoDB tools today either feel like spreadsheets or like web admin panels from a decade ago. I wanted something that felt like a code editor, behaved like a desktop app, and respected my time.

The piece I am most proud of is the AI service. Anyone on the team can ask MongoDB a question in plain English and get back a real query, not a guess. It is provider-agnostic, retries cleanly, and supports per-tenant key management for teams that care about cost and data residency.

It runs on every major desktop platform and is built to feel fast on day one and on day one thousand. I am still shipping new features almost every week.
